Hej,
köpt ett auktionspaket med 2st halogen lampor á 300W. (förstår att de mesta är LED nu annars?)
Det tråkiga är ju inte bara att de drar 300W, utan också att de behövs en transformator för 2x 300W 12V.
Nu framgår ingenstans om det är AC eller DC på transformator.
Hittar ingen anledning att tevka på att det är AC, men eftersom det inte står blir jag tveksam. Någon som har koll?

Halogen bulbs work equally well on both Alternating Current (AC) and Direct Current (DC) because they are a resistive load, heating a filament to produce light rather than requiring a specific current flow direction. While AC is often used with mains voltage and DC with low-voltage systems like those in cars or motorcycles, a halogen bulb will operate the same way regardless of the current type.

Alright, so I guess that the normal "pool transformators" that exists with the 12V will work eitherway - and probably the AC is the most common and/or only used solution.
